Another Impaired Driver

Fail to remain investigation

(Elliot Lake, Ont.) – Saturday the 2nd of December 2006 police were called to attend a restaurant on Mississauga Avenue regarding a pickup truck going off the roadway and hitting a fire hydrant.

On scene police learned that the vehicle was not longer at the scene and a short time later police located the driver and the following charges were laid.

Charged with impaired operation and over 80 is Mitchell Thomas Ross Gauvreau, (26 yrs.) of Elliot Lake.

Gauvreau is scheduled to appear in court on January 2, 2007.

Gauvreau was also charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, for which he is scheduled to appear in court on January 17, 2007.
