Racially and culturally, America has no closer kin than Canada. In fact, nearly a quarter of English-speaking Canadians trace their roots to British loyalists who left the United States following the War of Independence. These steady supporters of the Empire have built a nation whose history of peace and prosperity makes it the envy of the world. Today, however, Canada is in peril: the Canadian government is undermining the foundation of Canada’s tranquility by importing millions of Third World people.

Year after year Vancouver ranks high on various lists of the world’s most livable cities. However, Vancouver also has a darker side. It is home to a substantial community of Sikhs, the city’s most troublesome minority. Not only are Sikhs responsible for a very disproportionate share of crime, but they are culturally incompatible with white Canadians and flex their political muscle in ways that harm white interests. Canada’s Sikhs also have a history of vicious terrorism.

The Sikhs originated India’s Punjab region, which has found itself in the middle of invasions and wars for thousands of years; consequently, the Ten Gurus guided their followers towards martial virtues. The name “Singh,” common among Sikhs, means “lion,” and baptized Sikhs have a duty to be soldiers for their faith, continuously prepare for a fight, and participate in armed conflict when called upon.

Crime is particularly bad in Surrey, a suburb of Vancouver that is home to 76,000 Sikhs, 19 percent of the population. In fact, in 2006, Surrey had the highest overall crime rate of any Canadian city. (In 2008, Saskatoon beat out Surrey, possibly due to a spike in crime by American Indians.) The Canadian government goes to great length to not report crime rates by race, but ordinary Vancouverites know the score. Nearly two-thirds believe some ethnic groups are more responsible for crime than others, and Indo-Canadians and Asians are at the top of the list.

Canada has invited this trouble through its naive multi-racialist immigration policy, and despite increasingly visible problems, Canada continues to allow 250,000 immigrants per year into a country of only [33] million. Reform seems far off.

Canada’s problem with its Sikh minority should be of concern to Americans not just because Vancouver borders on the US, but for the broader lessons this story of ethnic conflict teaches. For many years, Scandinavians have wondered what kept the Swedish press from reporting the Muslim atrocities that take place every day and that threaten to tear the country apart (also see Norway). The conspiracy that hid the effects of multiculture from public view:

The “Lilla Saltsjöbadavtalet” 1985 as reported by SwedenWatchQuote on March 21, 1987 …a remarkable conference was held at the Saltsjöbaden (the salt water spa) resort near Stockholm.

A set of rules were adopted by the Swedish Journalists Club at the meeting there, rules applies to all journalists working for Swedish media.

These rules are commonly referred to as the “Lilla Saltsjöbadavtalet” (The little salt sea spa agreement). The agreement was supposed to be kept a secret, but as has happened with most of the state manipulated reporting on the multicultural project, the truth has come out. The agreed rules were as follows:

As an independent journalist, you must observe the following recommendations: Report positively — if necessary (distort) rename —  ’fellow Swedes’ of  foreign origin.  

In particular, this must be observed when reporting on activities related to youth, sports and art. When reporting from events involving different cultures, (you should) interview and put visual focus on people of foreign descent.

For a period of five years, you must systematically and consistently (omit) refrain from reporting on negative aspects like CRIME that can identify any religious or racial affiliation of the involved or can have a negative effect upon a population as a whole.

The five year period has been extended several times and the agreement, with ‘cosmetic’ and ‘linguistics refinements’ are in effect up to this day. Events Leading up to World War II (excerpts)

It has been told how the international bankers enabled Germany to secretly re-arm, with the aid of Stalin, in spite of the restrictions imposed by the Treaty of Versailles. In order to understand what happened in Germany to bring Hitler into power, it is necessary to be familiar with the political intrigue which went on between 1924 and 1934. ‘The Secret Powers’ always have had their agents divide the population of countries. They plan to subjugate into many religious, economic, political, social, and labour groups. Their agents then divide the various groups into as many factions as possible. Their motto is ‘United we stand. Divided they fall.’

Most German citizens, excepting only Communists, were agreed upon the following issues: That Germany had been winning the war (World War I) when had she had first been betrayed and afterwards victimized. That the national money-lenders had used the so-called democracies of Britain, France, and the United States, to defeat Germany’s armed forces. That the Jewish-led Communist Party assisted the international bankers by bringing about the chaotic conditions that preceded the signing of the Armistice and the revolution that followed. They agree that every patriotic German male and female, should do his or her uttermost to build up post-war Germany, and break the economic and military stranglehold placed on their nation by the Treaty of Versailles.

Most political leaders, except Communists, were also agreed that in order to free themselves of the economic sanctions imposed upon the nation, it was necessary to break away from their dependence on the international bankers for financial assistance in the form of interest bearing loans. In other words, most German politicians, except Communists, were agreed that Germany should depart from the practice of financing the nation’s business by incurring debts, a practice which had been imposed upon England in 1694, France in 1790, and the United States in 1791 by the International bankers. They realized that this system had resulted in astronomical National Debts, the principal and interest payments on which were guaranteed and secured by Direct Taxation of the people. The Fascist leaders in Germany decided they were going to create their own money and use their national assets, such as the value of their real estate, their industrial potentials, their agricultural production, natural resources, and the nation’s capacity to produce, as collateral.

The purpose of this book (published 1955) is to record the events in history which provided the ‘Causes’ which produced the ‘Effects’ we experience to-day. We are not concerned with the ‘Rights’ or ‘Wrongs’ of the decisions made by individuals, except to judge for ourselves whether the decisions furthered the Devil’s Plan or were in accordance with the Plan of God. The only value of historical research is to obtain knowledge of how, and why, mistakes were made in the past so we can try to avoid making similar mistakes in the future.

The momentous meeting regarding the possibility of an alliance between Great Britain and Germany took place in January 1936. Lord Londonderry represented the British government and Goering, Herr Ribbentrop, and Hitler, Germany.

An authority on this phase of history informed me that Herr Goering and Herr Von Ribbentrop outlined the history of the World Revolutionary Movement to Lord Londonderry, explaining the detailed research work done by Professor Karl Ritter and others. They reasoned that the only successful way to fight a totalitarian-minded conspiracy was to use Total War. They explained to Lord Londonderry their plan was to attack all Communist-controlled countries; liberate the people, and execute all Communist traitors. They claimed the only way to wipe out Communism was the extermination of the whole Jewish Race. (Once again rabid antiSemitism shows itself and yet history proves that the International conspirators have used every race and creed to serve their own secret and selfish ambitions). They produced masses of documented evidence which, they claimed, was authentic, to prove Communism was organized, financed, and directed by powerful,wealthy and influential Jews, who also organized, financed and directed secret ambitions to bring about the Messianic Age. (Most of this evidence is reproduced in The Palestine Plot by B. Jensen, printed by John McKinley, 11-15 King Street, Perth, Scotland).

Hitler is said to have promised that he would continue to oppose the extreme totalitarian plans of the Nazi War Lords and confine his activities against Communism to Europe, providing the British government would enter into an alliance with Germany. When Lord Londonderry said he doubted if the British government would take part in a plan to abolish Communism, which called for ‘Genocide,’ Hitler compromised. He said Germany would undertake the task alone provided England would enter into an agreement that the two countries would under no circumstances war against each other for ten years. Hitler argued that the only way Britain, France, and Russia could shake off the unbearable and ruinous burden of ever-increasing national debts was to repudiate them and restore the issuing of money to the government where it originally and rightfully belonged.

Hitler is said to have pointed out that the purpose of his National-Socialist party. . . call it Fascism. . . was to put an end at once, and all time, to the power and influence the international money-lenders exerted on national and international affairs by reason of the fact that they were forcing every nation that still claimed to be independent, further and further into their debt. He is said to have quoted what Benjamin Disraeli made one of his characters say in his famous book “Coningsby,” “So you see, dear Coningsby, the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes.” (The book was published in 1844 just before Karl Marx published “The Communist Manifesto”. At that time several revolutions were being planned and took place immediately after Karl Marx’s book appeared in print).

Goering is said to have backed up the Fuehrer by pointing out that history had proved that the wealthy and influential Jews had obtained economic and political control of every country into which they had infiltrated by using illegal methods and corrupt practices.

Ribbentrop reasoned that the only way to clean up the mess was to ‘Get’ the three hundred men at the top who were ‘The Secret Power’ master-minding the negative forces whose various evil influences, and criminal activities, all furthered the Long Range Plan of those who directed the World Revolutionary Movement. (Ribbentrop was evidently quoting from an article ‘Weiner Freie Presse’ published December 14th, 1912 by the late Walter Rathenau in which he said, “Three hundred men, each of whom is known to all the others, govern the fate of the European Continent and they elect their successors from their own entourage.” These are the Illuminati).

Goering is said to have reviewed once more the part the international bankers had played in bringing about, directing, and financing the Russian revolution in 1917, which had enabled them to bring into existence the adverse conditions being experienced throughout the world at that time. (Most countries of the world were mired deep in economic depression).

Hitler reminded Lord Londonderry of the millions of Christians who had been ruthlessly slaughtered in the Communized countries since October, 1917, and argued that the men responsible could not be considered as anything else than international gangsters.

According to the Germans, it would be impossible for the world to enjoy peace and prosperity as long as those who directed the World Revolutionary Movement insisted on fomenting wars in order to create conditions favourable for revolutionary action. They argued both international Communism and political Zionism had to be stopped and the movements ended at once, or another war was inevitable, because the Secret Powers, pulling the strings, were determined they were going to reach their ultimate objectives. Hitler was a great orator, and my informant claimed he ended the discussions with a plea that Lord Londonderry return to England and persuade the British government to join in the suggested alliance with Germany “Because I am convinced that the British Empire and the Roman Catholic Church are both universal institutions, the continuance of which is absolutely essential as bulwarks for the preservation of law and order throughout the world in the future.”

What has been said here of Hitler is so absolutely foreign to the general idea that the following historical facts and documents are quoted to support what has been said: Lord Londonderry returned to London following the conference and made his report to the British cabinet.

Hitler had not only failed to bring about the British alliance, but he had earned the enmity of the Nazi War Lords who advocated totalitarian methods for solving the very complicated and dangerous problem. They did not want an alliance with England. They did not want to see Christianity flourish. They did not agree with Hitler’s “preventive” measures. They didn’t agree with anything Hitler did to hinder their plans to wage ‘Total War,’ first against Russia, then against Britain and France. The ‘hard core’ of the pagan Nazi War Lords demanded that Hitler take offensive action, as the best defence against gradual encroachment by Communist underground and Stalin’s armed forces. When Hitler refused to go all the way with them, they decided to get rid of him. The first attempt was made on his life. The Nazi War Lords next tried to weaken the control he had gained over the German people.

Hitler antagonized the international bankers when he announced his financial policy and monetary reform programme. He persuaded Italy, Spain, and Japan to back him in his determination to challenge the power of the Cartels and Monopolies financed and controlled by the international bankers, particularly their “Brain-child,” the Bank of International Settlements. The German Reich abrogated the clause in the constitution which made Dr. Hans Luther, the president of the Reichsbank, a permanent fixture. Until the change was made, the president of the Reichsbank could not be removed without his own consent and a majority vote of the board of the Bank of International Settlements.

Since the Great War the international bankers had set up twenty-six central banks. They were modeled after the Federal Reserve Banks in the United States, which had been established in 1913 according to the theories of Mr. Paul Warburg, the German who had gone to America in 1907 and become a partner in Kuhn-Loeb & Co. of New York.

Mr. Paul Warburg’s creation of 1913 had been steadily attempting to set up a ‘Central Banking Organization’ which would acknowledge no authority on this planet as above it. Hitler knew that if Warburg and associates had their way, the Bank of International Settlements (B.I.S.) would become as autocratic as the bank of England is in regard to British National Affairs and Foreign Policy. Politicians and statesmen were being asked to believe this banker’s dream would stabilize the banking system of the world.

When the Axis Powers in Europe refused to place themselves in usury to the international bankers, they placed themselves in exactly the same category as the small independent store keeper is in relation to the big chain-store organizations and business combines and monopolies. They were given the option of joining the big ‘Happy Family’. . . or else. In the case of an independent store keeper, if he refuses to ’see the light he is put out of business by systematically applied pressure of unfair competition. In the case of nations who refuse to ‘play-ball,’ they are doomed to suffer war or revolution. There is no mercy shown to the nations whose leaders refuse to bow down and worship at the feet of Mammon. There is no consideration given to nations which refuse to place themselves in usury to the High Priests of the God of Mammon. All must pay the tribute demanded of them. . . or else. World War Two was started in order to enable the Illuminati to finally rid themselves of the barriers of caste and creed and prejudice. Their ideas regarding a new civilization had to be built through a world at war. In proof of the above statement a portion of the broadcast Sir Anthony Eden addressed to America on September 11th, 1939, is quoted. He said; “Can we finally rid Europe of the barriers of caste and creed and prejudice ? . . . Our new civilization must be built through a world at war. But our new civilization will be built just the same.” What utter rot. Wars are destructive not constructive.

You might think that the Main Stream Media (MSM) might show some concern at an apparent assassination attempt against one of their own. 

But, as of this writing, only Fox and a couple local outlets (NBC New York and the Star Ledger) have reported on a shooting at the home of influential CNN anchor Lou Dobbs, who has been a consistent voice for law and borders for several years.

 A gunshot was fired at the New Jersey home of CNN’s Lou Dobbs after a series of threatening phone calls earlier this month, the host told listeners on his nationally syndicated radio show.

“Dobbs, a fervent proponent of U.S. border enforcement, told listeners of ‘The Lou Dobbs Show’ on Monday that the incident is part of an ongoing assault against anyone who opposes amnesty or leniency toward illegal immigrants.

“’They’ve created an atmosphere and they’ve been unrelenting in their propaganda,’ Dobbs said in reference to pro-immigration groups like the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), the National Council of La Raza and America’s Voice. ‘Three weeks ago this morning, a shot was fired at my house where I live. Let me tell you about a friend of mine.

For the sake of privacy, I’ll call her “Mary”. She is a recent immigrant to Canada from the Philippines. There, she was a librarian. A few years ago, she decided she needed a change in her life. After talking with friends who were emigrating to Canada, she decided to pay a visit to Canadian immigration officials to inquire about moving here.

“You’re just the kind of person Canada needs–skilled, well-educated,” she was told. “There are lots of jobs for you.” Mary was elated. Within a few months, she had resigned from her job and was on a plane to Vancouver. She found a place to live, and soon made lots of friends in the Filipino groups that she met. Next, she began her search for the job that she had been told would be so easy to find.

This is where Mary’s story turns sour. She did manage to find one short-term contract librarian position, but when that ended, she found herself looking all over again. In the last two years, she’s managed to find a few things very unrelated to her field, but she’s come to realize that the message she was given by Canadian immigration officials was very unrealistic and, to put it more accurately – fraudulent!

Recently, she’s been re-training so that she can make herself more qualified for non-librarian employment. I happened to be enrolled in one of the UBC (University of British Columbia) courses she was taking. One day, I gave her a ride to class and we started talking about our instructor, a University of Toronto professor who had grown up in (the Canadian Province of) New Brunswick. In talking to us one day, he mentioned that his background was Irish.

As we were driving, she commented on what the instructor had mentioned one day. “He said he was Irish,” Mary declared. When Mary said this, she really meant, “He’s like me. He’s an immigrant. Canada is a country of immigrants.”

She had heard the latter statement many times and, like many new Canadians, had come to believe what she had heard.

When I told her that the instructor really meant that he came from Irish ancestry and that his ancestors, like those of many Canadians, had probably come to New Brunswick almost 200 years ago, and that a separate culture had developed in Canada in those intervening years, I could tell from the look on her face that she was shocked and deflated.

Not only had she believed the immigration official but she had believed the messages fanned by Canada’s multiculturalists that implied that Canada was like a blank slate – that it didn’t really have a history — that there really was no resident Canadian culture and that Canada was composed of many different ethnic groups (Not Racial) —all just “recently arrived”—and that as a new arrival, she would fit in well and would be no different from the countryful of other “recent arrivals”.

I felt and continue to feel sympathy for “Mary”. Like tens of thousands of other immigrants who have arrived in Canada in the last 15 years, she is a victim of the short-term electoral aspirations of a number of people in the Liberal Party of Canada who feel they can use the immigrant vote to win a significant number of seats.

But I feel more sympathy for Canadian job-seeking victims of Liberal immigration policies because Canadians are enduring and will continue to endure undetermined long-term employment losses precisely because of these policies.

What is the connection between “Mary’s” story and multiculturalism? As one observer of this subject has said, immigration is the oxygen that feeds the fires of multiculturalism. Without one another, the two would wither—an event that many Canadians would like to see occur soon. But at the moment, the two are in full flame. What have they achieved?

Well, all of us will concede that some spice has been added to Canada. But what has been the price? Mary’s case outlines the deceit that has been practised on skilled immigrants. But it also reveals the insult given to Canadians. The multiculturalists have rushed to the aid of people like Mary with affirmative action programmes, trying to get public and private employers to hire immigrants because these immigrants make up a significant percentage of our population now.

All Canadians have heard the following illogical statement from a number of public employers: “Well, we want to have our workforce reflect the ethnic composition of our community.” What this statement really means is that these employers want to move recent arrivals to the FRONT of the employment line!

  Meanwhile, resident Canadians are supposed to go meekly to the back of this line!? What Canadians in their right minds would ever want this?

This brings us to the real issue. Most Canadians assume that their government should be serving its own people. It is very clear that Canada’s immigration policies are in conflict with the employment aspirations of its own citizens. So, the first definition of multiculturalism I would give is this: it is a flowery-sounding deceit of both the people who have come here and of the people of Canada.

A second definition follows from the first.

Multiculturalism is a euphemism for an attempt to intimidate the people of Canada into accepting people that it never really needed. It is non-Canadian-culturalism. It is an attempt to put itself above all other considerations, especially the informed interests of CANADIANS.

Not only does it thwart the job-seeking of Canadians, it crowds and degrades the living space of Canadians – who live in the three major immigrant-receiving areas of Canada: Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

At a time when most Canadians are aware that the most basic science asserts that global population has to be stabilized and reduced, these three areas of Canada are growing at third-world rates. At a time when the effects of overuse of resources are appearing in the form of climate change here and all over the world, Canada is bringing in unprecedented numbers of people to consume more and more resources.

The government of Canada has never produced any rational evidence to justify its present immigration policies. What should Canada place first: irrational, ill-informed multiculturalist-immigration policies — or its precious living spaces? The multiculturalists have had considerable success in bullying Canadians into accepting the idea that multiculturalism should take precedence over the livability of living space. To any sane, informed Canadian — this does not make sense!

In addition to deceit and intimidation, multiculturalism is resurrected colonialism. The two main source areas of immigrants to Canada are China and India (+ Pakistan). The populations of these countries make up well over a third of the world’s 6 billion people. Since the introduction of unprecedented 250,000+ annual immigration levels in the early 1990’s, these two groups have quickly become the majority, for example, in areas of the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

There is virtually an unlimited number of people in these two countries to continue the flood. Prominent members of these groups have declared that they will do everything they can to make sure that the flood continues.

The multiculturalists defend what is happening by using the guilt card: they tell Canadians that we colonized Canada and displaced the aboriginal population, so what is wrong with two large ethnic groups doing the same to us? In other words, they tell Canadians that in order to make up for past guilt, Canadians must meekly accept this resurrected colonialism. Other groups have done the same thing here and in other parts of Canada.

The multiculturalists’ attitude, which implies that Canada is some partially filled, acultural space waiting to be filled with infinite numbers of people, who will make infinite demands for equal ethnic treatment, has to be put into the nearest landfill where it belongs.The most direct way to achieve that goal is to return Canada’s immigration policy to the principle of economic and cultural absorptive capacity.

In other words, when Canada has an economic need for immigrants, it will look for them. When it needs very few–as is certainly the case now–it will not look for them.    

As for cultural absorptive capacity, the Canadian government should never permit the inflow of immigrants to overwhelm the culture of resident Canadians. In summary, Canada will continue to admit some immigrants…but those numbers have to be reduced dramatically.

In this way, common sense will be restored to Canada’s immigration policies, the frustrations of immigrants like “Mary” will be reduced dramatically, the ambitions of Canadian job-seekers will be a primary goal of Canada’s government, Canadian culture will regain its self-respect and the people of Canada will re-assert their sovereignty over their OWN country. >>SOURCE

TOO many people in the Commonwealth — and outside of it, as well — fail to differentiate between Canadians and Americans. Canadians find that very insulting. I know I do.

It must be conceded though that, from afar, the Canadian English dialect is not unalike many American dialects to the untrained ear, and to those not intimately acquainted with North American life our conduct and appearance would indeed seem indistinguishable from Americans. Sure, Americans drink watered-down beer, play boring 4-down football, don’t live for ice hockey, say “huh” instead of “eh” and don’t know what an adverb is. But other than that, we blend in. Especially when a Canadian becomes a movie star or a comedian. Then to Americans, he always was an American. Nevertheless, I would assert that there is a distinctive Canadian personality, and it can be evidenced by our respective attitudes to freedom and national pride. Attitudes that can be illustrated by contrasting the following statements:

American: “Give me liberty or give me death.” (Patrick Henry)
Canadian: “Give me an entitlement or I will vote you out of office.”

American: (Quoting Voltaire) “I do not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
Canadian: “I don’t agree with what you have to say so take me off your email list.”

American: “It’s a First Amendment issue”.
Canadian: “It’s a Human Rights issue.”

American: “I want to be free.”
Canadian: “I want to be safe.”

American: “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
Canadian: “Peace, Order and Good Government.”

American: “God helps those who help themselves.”
Canadian: “I need government funding for this.”

CNN (American): “We welcome your views,”
CBC (Canadian): “We welcome your views but we will make damn sure no one else will hear them.”

Formed in March (2009) they are EX-MILITARY and POLICE who repledge themselves to defend the Constitution, even if it means disobeying orders. If the U.S. government ordered law enforcement agencies to violate Second Amendment rights by disarming the people, Oath Keepers will NOT obey.

In their lifetimes, they (white working-class voters) have seen their Christian faith purged from schools their taxes paid for, and mocked in movies and on TV.  They have seen their factories shuttered in the thousands and their jobs outsourced in the millions to Mexico and China. They have seen trillions of tax dollars go for Great Society programs, but have seen no Great Society… only rising crime, illegitimacy, drug use and dropout rates.

They watch on cable TV as illegal aliens walk into their country, are rewarded with free educations and health care, and take jobs at lower pay than American families can live on—then carry Mexican flags in American cities and demand U.S. citizenship.

 They see Wall Street banks bailed out as they sweat their next paycheck, then read that bank profits are soaring, and the big bonuses for the brilliant bankers are back. Neither they nor their kids ever benefited from affirmative action, unlike Barack and Michelle Obama.

They see a government in Washington that cannot balance its books, win our wars or protect our borders. The government shovels out trillions to Fortune 500 corporations and banks to rescue the country from a crisis created by the government and Fortune 500 corporations and banks.

America was ONCE their country. They sense they are losing it. And they are right.

WHITE people want to live around (other) white people, although they will never, EVER admit this fact …which Black people exploit so easily and effectively.  A movie was made called Pleasantville, which pokes fun at Pre-Obama America, for its lack of “color”. White people are constantly trying recreate the magic that is dramatically castigated in that film, to no avail.

Black people want to live among white people, because, only white people have been able to create and sustain a pleasant-ville that welcomes them with open arms and away from the crime and poverty that shapes most majority Black areas.

So, paradoxically, we must include Whitopia among the Stuff Black People Don’t Like, for they would love to live among the thoughtful and pleasant white people who flee to these enclaves that are popping up quickly and efficiently (like a SIM-City), yet they are fearful for actually admitting what this would mean in practical terms.

Simply put, Whitopia’s mere existence undermines all that has been done in social engineering over the past 50 years and proves without a shadow of a doubt that integration has failed and that wherever white people can be found living amongst almost all white people, Black people will be found with their bags packed, hoping to move in soon to start Acting White.

Yet, if Black people flock to Whitopia’s, it will mean Black people are incapable of governing and keeping their own communities in check, and that there is no THE MAN keeping Black people, but merely Black people performing that feat. Catch-22 indeed, for a Pleasant-ville really can only include white people after all, sans color. “NO!”, I began in a loud voice, “I spend my waking hours thinking of ways to DESTROY the CBC. It is a politically correct mouthpiece of favoured identity groups with whom they make corrupt arrangements…..”

She remained in shock while ranted on a spiel that must have lasted 5 minutes before she could break in with a question. I told her about the CBC, the BBC and the ABC, and while I was talking I called up the dozen rants against Mother Corp. on my folder. She became interested to know, as an individual, the titles of each of these so that she could google them. I told her to read Jack Parson’s “Treason of the BBC” to learn about a case study in biased and myopic journalism that seems to be the template for us too.

At the end when things calmed down, she said, “ Well, I must go but how should I summarize your comments. I replied thusly. “Proportional representation is the buzz-phrase of politics. And in commerce companies are told to hire a workforce that reflects the diversity of the public they serve.

If police forces and fire departments must represent diversity, then surely the CBC should do as well. But not ethnic or cultural diversity so much, but the diversity of opinions that exist in Canada. The FULL spectrum of opinions. And spokesmen for causes deemed politically incorrect by CBC producers should not be invited to forums just to be ambushed and outnumbered four to one by the other side.” I had told her about several examples of this. And that if she read “Conspiracy of Silence at the BBC, the ABC and the CBC” she would realize that it was not a Canadian phenomena but a formula and pattern of state broadcasting in Anglophone countries.

In other words, the problem is endemic to state broadcasting which is captive of powerful lobbies nurtured or promoted by the government. We need public broadcasting, not state broadcasting. And not journalists and producers who are recruited from the graduates of the mind-bending schools of PC journalism. If the CBC cannot be reformed, it should be scrapped. Rather uninformed than misinformed. Better to leave people to their own brains rather than have them downloaded from CBC Pravda in Toronto.  …more HERE.

Recent mass immigration has negatively affected Canadian living standards and is challenging the country’s existing national identity, culture, and social fabric, concludes a new book released today by the Fraser Institute, Canada’s leading economic think tank.

Based on a series of papers presented to a 2008 Montreal conference on immigration, The Effects of Mass Immigration on Canadian Living Standards and Society recommends significant changes to Canadian immigration policy including changes to the selection process that would limit the number of immigrants.

“Since 1990, Canada’s annual rate of immigration has been the highest in the world, resulting in a population increase of 3.9 million people between 1990 and 2006. This mass immigration has had profound effects on Canada’s economic, demographic, social, and political conditions, affecting the well-being of all Canadians including past immigrants,” said Herbert Grubel, Fraser Institute senior fellow and co-editor of the book.

“Unfortunately, most Canadians are insufficiently aware of these effects partly because a code of political correctness tends to identify any examination of immigration policies with racism and partly because Canada’s electoral system rewards politicians who are in favor of the current high intake.”  …more HERE
